Back to School :3

Before the easter holidays I was out sick for a week and a 1/2  and missed out on la glas, a trip to kildare town and bowling. last week the easter holidays ended and we started school again for are final term. I have started my third work experiance and I am looking foward to swim a mile this friday( its going to be fun ). And there is lots more to look forward to in this term.

Sci Fest

Last Friday we had a mini sci fest contest in are school hall to decide who will go through to sci fest in may.
We all had a turn to present our projects, and 10 groups out of 33 got through.
My group got through YEAH :3. I hope we do well !!! :3

Conflict project

Last week Hasana, Roisin and I presented our Prezi (online powerpoint) on conflict to our religion class.

lollipop day

last friday was lollipop day!!!    
lollipop day is once a year to help raise awareness for Oesphageal cancer. (cancer in the throath).
so to help out we ( all ty students and lcvp students ) went into dublin for the day and sold lollipops :3 .  It was a blast. well worth the time and it for a great cause.

Jembe workshop

yesterday in school we had a jembe (African drum) workshop. from one to four, we had lots of fun playing all the different instruments that were there. we also had lots of fun trying on all the hats.
(here's a few photos I took of my friends modelling some awesome hats).
I got to play the jembe and the giant base drum's!!!. 
 It was lot of fun :3

scince last time

1, I started working in junior infants every wedensday.(its really fun)

2, we have done a good bit of work on our ty teddy bear. ( I am nearly done with the arm's and leg's)

3, In art we did this trick. You were given a picture, it was up-side down. it was mostly coverd so you only saw the top of the photo. you had no idea what it was till you finished drawing. so you had to draw it line by line. by the time I was done I had drawn a great hourse.

4, In religion we watched more of the blind side. ( it such a great movie)

5, in mini company on thursday we were watching the aprentise to help give us ideas for are up and coming project.

Mini company.

Yesterday we had the mini.co competition. we went in to school early to set up our display. Hasana had her little sister come in to set up the laptop display while we set up the stand. (Are mini.co is called Xpress Yourself, we make personalized t-shirts for boys and girl). On are stand we had a few of the t-shirts we made and are report booklet we also set out are order sheets, receipt book, are giant logo and a ironing bored and iron to give demonstrations on how we had mad the t-shirts.
The judges liked are display and I think our presentation went well although we were all nervous. When they read out the results we were stunned. Xpress Yourself won a trophy for best display out of our class, we all happy with that even though we didn't make it to the short list for the national competition . But we had fun :3 and that's the most important thing right!!!
